Firefighters place trust in their officers to ensure the best plan of action is being taken. Risk management decisions made by officers can have positive influence on an outcome, when those decisions are formulated through experience and complete understanding of the situation. Firefighters take on dangerous careers and deserve the utmost certainty from their officers.
